JDW Construction recently completed stage one and two of major renovations and alterations to a property on Greenwich Point. The property is located on a unique lot, whereby access to the site is limited via either a narrow unsealed private track running along Greenwich Point reserve or via a narrow staircase from the road above.

The scope of works completed included:

  • Demolition and removal of all windows, internal walls, ceilings, bathrooms and kitchen
  • Extension to the rear of the house to make the laundry larger and create a new ensuite off the main bedroom on the upper floor
  • Construction of an outdoor living space on the first floor
  • Extended the upper floor study over the front entry
  • Replaced all roofing, fascias and box gutter
  • Replaced all windows
  • New air-conditioning system
  • New gyprock to walls and ceilings
  • Shadowline to all the skirting boards, architraves and the ceiling perimeter
  • New flooring to the first floor
  • Three new bathrooms and a laundry
  • New kitchen with marble bench tops
  • Renovating the self-contained unit in the basement level of the property to provide for a new bathroom, kitchen and living space/bedroom
  • Render finish to the exterior
  • All new paint work
